FLUVANNA COUNTY EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Your safety is our top concern – that’s why Fluvanna County wants to make sure County residents know about emergencies and incidents as they happen. Fluvanna County has begun using an emergency alert system powered by Everbridge©, to keep you informed about issues that may affect your safety. This system allows Fluvanna County to contact thousands of residents in seconds so you can find out about an emergency right away. Receive important messages from Fluvanna County via email, phone, and text message. How Does It Work? Step 1: Go to the Fluvanna County Emergency Alert system and create an account. Step 2: Fluvanna County issues an alert. You receive a message on the voice or text communication method that you have registered in your account. You are prompted to confirm that you have received the message - If you do not confirm receipt of the message, the system will continue through the list of communication methods you have registered. Once you confirm you have the received the alert, notifications will stop for that particular alert. The success of this service relies on YOU. Having your latest contact information is the only way to ensure that we can contact you in an emergency.
